Do you take credit cards?
Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Cash is fine too.
What are your prices?
The price of a trip will depend on the pickup location and destination and may vary slightly during heavy traffic. You are welcome to call to check the price of a particular trip.
Do you pickup outside of Winchester or Clark County?
Yes. We do this almost every day.
Prepayment is required for all trips outside of Clark County and a few areas in Clark County that are a good distance from the city limits of Winchester. If prepayment is required, the passenger will have to show an ID and sign a credit card receipt at the start of the trip.
Can I schedule a ride ahead for a certain time or date?
Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to schedule pickups in advance for rides to work, appointments, or anywhere else you need to arrive by a certain time.
Is it extra for someone to ride with me?
No. The price of the trip doesn’t change with extra passengers as long as the pickup and destination are the same. However, we cannot haul over the capacity of the car. People can not sit in your lap, in the floorboard, etc. Yes, people have asked!
Do you make stops?
Yes, but we do charge to sit and wait so keep that in mind. Its actually cheaper after 12 minutes to just have us come back and get you rather than to wait.
There are two places we will not wait in Winchester:
- 1) Walmart: This is because we often have others attempt to ride while we are waiting. This is also because you will never be finished as fast as you think you will be. When we did wait here in the past, EVERY TIME it was cheaper for the customer and better for our flow of business had we not waited. So we no longer do here.
- 2) Pawn Shops if you are “pawning” something: We will happily wait on you to go in and make a payment. However, we will not wait on you to pawn items.
Can you pick up food, beverages, and other household items and bring them to me?
We do NOT. We are a taxi service and can take you where you need to go to get these items.
We do wait at stores for pick up orders to be brought out to the cabs. We will also wait at any drive thru(s). However, our drivers do not shop for the items themselves and bring them to you.
My number always goes to voicemail, why?
Likely you were a “no-show” more than once. That is, you called for a cab, let us show up, didn’t answer our calls when we arrived, and didn’t bother to call and cancel the ride even though you no longer needed us.
Now, we have no interest in taking your calls. See how that works.
The other reason this can happen is if you were a problem passenger.
If neither of these scenarios apply to you and it just now happened a couple times then we are likely just busy and couldn’t answer your call right away. Leave a message and we will call you back soon or try again in a few minutes.
