If you like to drive and meet interesting people, driving a taxi may be perfect for you. You will need to be at least 23 years old with a clean criminal background and good driving record. You must have a valid KY issued driver’s license. No special license required to drive a taxi. Description:

A taxi driver picks up people and takes them to their destinations so lots of opportunity to drive. You drive the company’s cabs, never your personal vehicle. Most of our trips will be local but we often go to other areas. As a taxi driver, you will get a change of scenery that is simply not possible with other types of work. A taxi driver’s work days are not the same boring repetitive tasks from one day to the next.

This can be either a full time commitment or side gig. You can tailor this to meet your income needs and suit your life.

The Passengers:

At Clark Taxi, we have a loyal base of passengers who use us to get about their day. Most of the people you pick up will be going to work themselves, or to the stores, or appointments, the airport…places like that. So if you have been hesitant to drive a taxi because you think its like the movies with all nightmare passengers think again. The people we pick up are nice, just wanting to get to where they need to go.

Our drivers also have the option to refuse any trip. This really can be the perfect opportunity.

There Are A Few Requirements:
  • Must be at least 23 years old.
  • Must have a regular KY Driver’s License. No special license required to drive a cab.
  • Must have a clean criminal background.
  • Must have a good driving record.
  • Must have a Smartphone with data for our trip app.

Drivers are paid various amounts per trip, not per hour.
